Rowan County Sheriff Office Online Concealed Carry Permit Requests

Welcome! This is an official application for a concealed handgun permit. You must completely and accurately fill-out this application to be considered for a permit. Any falsification of the information within this application will result in the refusal of this application for a concealed handgun permit.

A non-refundable processing fee is required. In addition, an online service fee of $5.00 is required to process payment. These fees will be charged even if your application is denied. This service is provided by a third party vendor and the Sheriff's Office only collects the fees provided in the North Carolina General Statute.

Address and Name changes for Rowan County Permittee’s Only. If your permit is currently in another county you will need to contact that Sheriff’s Office to make your address change.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office does not guarantee availability of appointments prior to the expiration date of your CHP. We are a first come first serve entity for the public. Failure to acquire an appointment prior to the expiration of your CHP could result in additional fees and possibly a loss of permit based on NC laws.
